sundbergman1
A synthesised male voice sings a melody with increasing and decreasing pitch on the vowel /A/. The rhythm of the melody is not yet optimized, neither are the transitions between the different tones.

A synthesised male voice sings the same melody on the vowel /A/, but with stronger glottal adduction, and with prosodic optimisation.

sundbergvrouw1
A synthesised female voice sings the same melody, one octave higher. The vowel first is /i:/ but this changes into /A/ due to formant adaptation.

A synthesised female voice sings the same melody. The vowel starts as /O/ but changes into /A/ due to formant adaptation.
